Hey Reader,
The end of the year is a great time to reflect on the past year and review your progress. It’s an opportunity to celebrate accomplishments, recognize challenges, and plan for the future. Taking a moment to look back on the year can be incredibly beneficial as it can help you to put things into perspective, gain clarity and make more informed decisions for the future.
My wife and I wanted to make it even easier to review the past year, so we decided to come up with a list of key lessons that we learned. We felt that by laying out the key takeaways, it would be easier to reflect and identify areas of improvement going forward. We gathered these lessons and compiled them into a document, which we have made available for you to download here:
We hope that these lessons will be helpful and that you can use them to make the best of the year ahead. Whether you’re reflecting on the past year or making plans for the future, we wish you all the best in the coming year!
The goal of this review is to get you and your family ready for the new year, ensuring that your long-term goals are aligned with the coming year’s plans.
To ensure that you are taking an effective approach to this important review, we suggest that you consider all of the aspects of your life, such as spirituality, physical activity, work, business, health, family and relationships, family operations, and professional development. Although it may not be feasible to review each of these areas in one day, that is why we like to take the time to prepare individually first, and then spend a full day discussing our goals and plans for the new year.
This year, we are in Colombia, and we have chosen a nearby luxurious hotel to host our meeting. It is crucial to review your goals, successes and lessons learned from the past year so that you can gradually review all the different areas of your life and make sure that your goals are in line with your actions. This will help you stay on track for a successful and fulfilling new year.
Additionally, we recommend that you take the time to evaluate the progress you have made in the past year and identify any areas that may require further attention. Doing this will help you to ensure that your plans are realistic and achievable, and will provide the motivation and purpose to move forward into the new year.
It’s essential to take the time to reflect on the goals you set out to achieve at the beginning of the year. Have you reached your goals? Write down everything you have achieved and everything that you didn’t quite manage to accomplish.
Celebrate the successes, and take a look at what you can do differently in the future to ensure that more of your goals are achieved. It is also important to reflect on the process and the journey you have taken to reach your goals. How have you grown and developed as an individual throughout the year? How have your skillset and knowledge been enhanced?
In addition to reflecting on your goals, you must recognize your wins from the year. Grab a pen and paper and take the time to write down all the victories you achieved in the past 12 months - big or small, professional or personal.
Spend some time reflecting on the feelings that come with each win and how grateful you are for them. Recognizing and appreciating your own successes is a great way to give yourself the credit you deserve and build self-confidence. Celebrating these wins is an excellent way to recognize the hard work you’ve put in throughout the year.
Finally, now is a great opportunity to review the lessons learned throughout the past 12 months. Think of any challenges you faced and the valuable knowledge you gained from them. Take the time to really consider how you can use the lessons learned this year to help you in the year ahead.
Reflection on these lessons is key to being more prepared for any future obstacles that may come your way. Be sure to take the time to practice self-awareness and reflection, as it can be incredibly powerful in helping you understand your own strengths and weaknesses and how to better utilize them in the future.
The end of the year is the perfect time to reflect on the past 12 months and review your progress. It’s a great opportunity to take a step back and appreciate all the successes, challenges, and lessons learned throughout the year. Celebrate the wins, recognize the obstacles and plan for a successful year ahead. Reflecting on the past year can help you gain clarity on where you’re headed and give you a sense of direction for the upcoming year.
This can be a great motivation to set achievable goals and work towards a better future. I can’t wait to see how far we go together in 2023 and all the amazing things we can accomplish.

Hi Reader, For over four months, I have been working on consolidating what I learned when I took the PE Exam. It has been fun to go back and see at what I learned and how I studied. Today, I am launching a course to help you prepare for the exam. It includes the tools and strategies that I personally used to prepare for the exam. Today I simply wanted to share one of the lessons on time-management from the course. This is just a glimpse into what the whole course covers. When you sign up for...
Hi Reader, It is no secret that these past two years have been hard for all of us. I have been taking some time to reflect and think back at all that has happened and it quickly becomes overwhelming. As many of you, I have been struggling with concentration and that overwhelming feeling of what to do next. This coming week, I will be taking a “personal retreat” to reflect, plan, and have clarity for what is coming next year. When I say personal retreat, I mean working on all of these while...
