Hi Reader,
There have been a few times in my life where I have felt like I didn’t belong in engineering. Coming from another country was definitely not easy but had given me a diverse perspective in everything I do. This month, I have been sharing part of my story as well as brought guests to talk about their experiences as Hispanics in STEM.
All the stories have been amazing and there have been so many lessons that have been hard to process and share more with you. I have been busy doing planning behind the scenes and getting some help so I can do more of what I love which is creating the podcast and learning more about the guests.
This week’s interview was one that I really enjoyed. Joan is a champion in STEM and it was wonderful to talk to her about so many great topics. This was the first time we had connected beyond seeing each other on social media and it felt very natural. Her mission is very similar to mine and I had a great time talking to her. I really hope you have enjoyed the conversations from this month!
Here are some lessons from the episode with Joan:
Make sure you check out the episode with her on your favorite podcast app or YouTube and subscribe to the show to get new updates every week. Here are the podcasts I have released for Hispanic Heritage month if you have not had a chance to listen to them.
I hope you are finding a lot of value in these episodes!

Hey Reader, The end of the year is a great time to reflect on the past year and review your progress. It’s an opportunity to celebrate accomplishments, recognize challenges, and plan for the future. Taking a moment to look back on the year can be incredibly beneficial as it can help you to put things into perspective, gain clarity and make more informed decisions for the future. My wife and I wanted to make it even easier to review the past year, so we decided to come up with a list of key...
Hi Reader, For over four months, I have been working on consolidating what I learned when I took the PE Exam. It has been fun to go back and see at what I learned and how I studied. Today, I am launching a course to help you prepare for the exam. It includes the tools and strategies that I personally used to prepare for the exam. Today I simply wanted to share one of the lessons on time-management from the course. This is just a glimpse into what the whole course covers. When you sign up for...
Hi Reader, It is no secret that these past two years have been hard for all of us. I have been taking some time to reflect and think back at all that has happened and it quickly becomes overwhelming. As many of you, I have been struggling with concentration and that overwhelming feeling of what to do next. This coming week, I will be taking a “personal retreat” to reflect, plan, and have clarity for what is coming next year. When I say personal retreat, I mean working on all of these while...
